Come one come all to the SECOND ANNUAL NEKO INVASION of Portcon Maine!
THE CAT CULT RETURNS!!!
We will meet outside of the main hotel entrance, on the grassy area where meetups tend to be (weather permitting!!)
Looking to find all cosplays that are cat-related and that includes (but is not limited to!):
- Characters who ARE cats (Garfield, Big the Cat, Meowth)
- Nekomimi outfits (Cute fashion outfits are welcome!)
- Cat versions of characters (Cat Mario, Neko-aizawa)
- Literally your cosplay + But with cat ears (CAT EARS ARE A MUST!!)
Silly meme cats are very welcome!
RULES OF THE CAT CULT!!
1- Nobody can be forced into the cat cult! If somebody doesn't wanna join they don't have to (and we will not make them feel bad for not wanting to!)
2- Must BE or BECOME a cat (Cat ears will be provided... Limited quantities available)
3- LEAVE NO MESS BEHIND! Please don't leave a mess <3 This is a respectful cult and we will respect the convention space.
Last year we handed out silly cat knick knacks and some people even had stickers they were handing out! We highly encourage bringing silly little things to share (NO FOOD!!!)
--- Please do not purchase multipacks of stickers that contain fanart! That is stolen art and PortCon Maine has strict rules against bootlegs and stolen art!
-recommended items to share are things like the little plastic duck or frog trinkets people hand out, simple hand stamps (like those plague rats at the ren faire!)
-Shared items do not have to be cat themed but bonus points for having cat themed goodies
Come join us for some (mild) shenanigans at Portcon this year! Keep tuned for updates and changes to times and actual at-con location!
Shenanigans may include (but are also not limited to!):
- Taking group photos
- Takings silly photos
- Playing with bubbles
- Excessive Meowing (or "Nya"-ing)
