Welcome to Port Veritas! We meet every Tuesday night in person at the Equality Community Center at 15 Casco St in Portland AND online. We typically end by 9:30 pm EST, but we have the space until 10 pm EST.
In person friends, please remain masked in the building. If you are reading, you may take off your mask only while reading.
The ECC has an accessible ramp at the North entrance, and three low steps with railings at the front entrance on Casco Street.

Our feature this week is Gibson Fay-LeBlanc coming to us in person!
Gibson Fay-LeBlanc’s first collection of poems, Death of a Ventriloquist won the Vassar Miller Prize, and his second, Deke Dangle Dive, was published by CavanKerry Press in 2021. His poems have appeared recently in magazines including Narrative Magazine, Poetry Northwest, and Orion, and a poem was awarded the 2025 Marvin Bell Memorial Poetry Prize by December Magazine and Maggie Smith. He has served as Executive Director of the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance since 2019.
