The Parks, Recreation, and Facilities Department and Friends of Lincoln Park are inviting you to a special event at Lincoln Park on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 1 PM, to commemorate the halfway completion of the Lincoln Park historic fence restoration project.
This significant milestone marks a major step in preserving one of Portland's most historic public spaces. This is the eleventh year of work to bring back the oldest park in Portland, circa 1866, to its glory days. The trees are in full bloom, and the newly repaired French Fountain and circular pond are awaiting your applause. If you have the time, take a stroll along the renewed pathways.
Join the Trustees and Friends of Lincoln Park, City of Portland Parks, Recreation, & Facilities, Portland Planning and Urban Development, Portland Parks Conservancy, Portland Downtown, and Historic Preservation to celebrate this vital community effort. Refreshments will be provided.
Thanks to all of you who have gotten us to this point with your generous donations and support.
Frank E. Reilly, President
Friends of Lincoln Park
