Since 2023 Hear You Loud & Queer has been Portland’s premiere stand up show featuring the best Queer comedians in Portland, the Pacific NW, and beyond! In that time they’ve helped raise over $10k for various queer causes and featured comedians who have appeared on The Late Show, Netflix, the Moth, Out Magazine, and more!
Hosted by Mack Lee and Ally J Ward (Willamette Week’s 2025 Portland’s Funniest Person), Hear You Loud & Queer provides a high energy, engaging, and fun loving comedy show with a focus on celebrating queer joy! Always booking the best queer up & coming and established comedians, and a show focused on punching up by comedians who are their authentic queer selves! Meet Your Hosts:
Mack Lee:
Mack Lee is nonbinary comic & Portland native. Their gender identity is a mix between Mac Demarco & Shadow the Hedgehog: trashy, edgy, and a little furry in some places. Mack's comedy aims to eliminate feelings of shame through exploration of kink, mental health and queerness. They are the co-host & co-producer of Queer AF, Hear You Loud & Queer, & Heart Throb, the comedy dating show. They love standup because they need attention, and getting it on stage is a lot healthier than other ways they've acquired it in the past.
Ally J Ward:
Ally J Ward is a self described dumb baby and good girl. Ally is a trans and queer stand up comedian, improviser, and storyteller from Portland, Oregon. She is the host and producer of the comedy shows Hear You Loud & Queer, Lady Killers, and Punchlines & Piledrivers. She’s also a top-notch bottom for the kink comedy show Giggle Bottom. She has been named one of the hottest queer comedians of today by Out Magazine, an undisputed genius of comedy by the Portland Mercury, and in 2025 she was named Portland’s Funniest Person by the Willamette Week and Portland’s best comedian by it’s reader’s poll.
