Whether starting from raw materials or altering an existing piece, creating cabaret costumes is its own unique skill. In this course, The Infamous Nina Nightshade will teach you how to build durable, adjustable costumes that stand up to multiple performances and accommodate our fluctuating bodies. You’ll also learn how to create versatile costume pieces that work across multiple acts, saving time and money. As a bonus for the non-sewers, Nina will demonstrate a hands-on lesson in a cabaret costuming staple: sewing on a snap. Materials provided.
