Dark Yule - A Solstice Elder Goth Retirement Home

It is the Night Before Solstice, and we must Dance!!! This month I am joined by DJ John The Revelator to bring a Merry Gothmas to All!!! No Cover as always!!!!

Well my fellow Creatures of The Night, let us gather in the shadows and dance together. My feelings have always been that through the strength community and music, we can survive the angry villagers at our door together. When I started this show online as the Desolation Disco 5 years ago, we were a beautiful community of strangers around the world. We survived an uneasy political environment and a world wide epidemic through our love of dark music as a diverse community of humans. I feel once again we need the strength we can share together on the dance floor to battle the pitchforks and torches we live through in our daily lives.
My hopes in the coming years is that we can make this event one that has been and will continue to be a Goth night unlike any other in Portland. Featuring the music you don't often hear at any other night mixed with Classics and Modern in Goth, Post-Punk, EBM and Dark Wave. Also I have been fortunate to meet so many amazing DJs around the world and I hope to bring them here to share their sounds with the Elder Goth Retirement Home.
