Combining Asian, European, and American Garden Design at Stark

Join Zach Stanley from Ink and Brush Fine Tree Pruning for a talk on combining garden ideas from Asian, European, and American gardening traditions. Zach with discuss how garden design ideas drawn from Asian, European and American traditions can be brought together to make use of each of their strengths. He will use examples from the ancient Chinese gardens in Suzhou China, as well as gardens from around North America. What ideas can be shared to enhance garden spaces? So much great art is made from combining ideas, gardening is no different!

***Classes this fall will be held in our Greenhouse1, which is located in the main courtyard, right across from the store. It is a large greenhouse that functions as a covered outdoor area. If the weather is cold, we will have heaters going, but please remember to dress so that you are comfortable during the presentation.***
