Frank Goodman is one of Portland's premier veteran singer songwriters. With 12 albums to his credit (as Frank Goodman, Buzz Holland or The Goodman Brothers) and more than 10 years in Nashville, he has crafted a huge trunk of songs in folk, country, rock and jazzy pop. Hot Tuna regularly plays his "Where Have My Old Friends Gone" and acclaimed novelist/bandleader Willy Vlautin has called him "a Northwest legend." His friend Donna Jean Godchaux (rest her soul) brought him to Muscle Shoals in 2022 to record an EP with her favorite players, "Broken River."
