Here we go again - Round 11
Annual summer BBQ - I will add to this as it gets closer but the usual events are happening...
Pie eating contest, smoked meats, pot luck, sprinklers, fire works, friends and fun.
Very kiddo friendly. Please no dogs. Drinking allowed, smoking in designated areas. Open to all friends and family...
My home is a safe space - while I do respect and want anyone to come please know that anyone who comes and acts in a way that is not inclusive to all walks of life - LBGQT+, all skin colors, all humans - will be removed.
The American Flag belongs to all of us who call our country home...as much as I struggle sometimes with what it has been used to symbolize in our current environment I cannot and will not let them take my flag from me. My grandpa fought for that flag, I have participated in retirement ceremonies for that flag and while right now I feel it should be flown upside down that doesn't change what the flag means to me so while I do respect that to some it represents an image that is terrifying in todays world I will use this holiday as a day to respect the good from the past and the hope for the future that our flag should represent. Rant over...let's have some fun.
