The Mystery of Mary Ann Furnace

The Mary Ann Furnace is believed to have been the first cold-blast furnace west of the Susquahanna River – opening for business in 1762. However, no remains have been found and the exact location is unknown….for now!

Join geo-archaeologist Jeri Jones and Park Educator Renae Weidner as we share the research currently underway and what we are finding. We also invite anyone that has information or memories associated with the possible furnace site to please feel free to come and share!
