About the Play
The Night Before Christmas offers a fresh and comedic twist on Clement C. Moore’s classic poem, exploring how the famous verse may have come to be written. Originally commissioned by the Kalamazoo Civic Theatre in 2012, this delightful long one-act play features:
Cows transforming into reindeer
Toys coming to life
A surprise visit from Santa Claus
Festive seasonal music
Set in 1823 on the Moore family’s Manhattan estate, the story follows the family as they prepare a special surprise for their children on Christmas Eve.
Don’t miss this opportunity to kick off the holiday season with an enchanting, family-friendly performance filled with laughter, music, and holiday magic.
