Local Work Group (LWG)

LWGs are formed to gather input from constituents and conservation leaders throughout each county to determine natural resource issues and priorities.

Every year we work to gather YOUR input on conservation priorities in Kalamazoo County!



We are asking all Kalamazoo County residents, land owners and land managers to attend this critical event, and let your voice be heard as we work to prioritize conservation issues in our region.



Some of the items that will be discussed include:

• The work and successes that have already taken place in the county

• Seek to identify the best investments that can be made to address natural resource problems

• Priority and ranking criteria that will be used to address local issues

• Discuss strategies for strengthening conservation education and awareness, and other issues

impacting conservation organizations.
