Tipis and Telescopes

Looking for volunteers to help with telescope/binocular observing at a "Tipis and Telescopes" event in conjunction with Dakota Ojibway Health Services. September 19-21, just south of Portage la Prairie, camping space and meals provided for telescope volunteers. Indigenous Star Keepers Wilfred Buck, Jim Buck, and Isaac Murdoch will be sharing sky tellings and Indigenous sky knowledge. RASC will be there to provide telescope views at night (and perhaps solar, but they have a lot of daytime activities already).

If you can't bring a telescope but want to help anyway, they also have volunteer positions doing clean-up, meal prep, etc. or we can get you a telescope to supervise.
