Teens Creative Writing Workshop, 'Strange Sentences & Beautiful Chaos'

Join Wendy for an immersive three-week creative writing workshop for teens. Each week we will engage with a different experimental form to explore and push the boundaries of what creative writing can do. Flash fiction - we will engage with and learn how to write tiny stories that pack a big punch by exploring twist endings and breaking the rules of narration and character development. Experimental poetry – we will play with sound, space, language, glitter, glue and collage to create unique voice driven poems that leap off the page. Hybrid forms – is it a poem? A diary entry? A script? A text? We will explore forms that can be all of these and none of these. Each week we will use imaginative and inspiring prompts to generate original work that will be supported with feedback and peer critique.

This workshop is suitable for age 12+
