Star of David Annual Band Parade

Last year saw us venture into new territory with hosting a local band parade. Though smaller than most, it was thoroughly enjoyed by those who came out to support it.

So, we are hosting another parade on 26th Sept. We will be parading the town after laying a wreath at St. Marks at 6.40 with the main parade starting at 7.30 in the Fairgreen.

We have a close friendship with Dollingstown Star of the North Flute Band and in this their 50th anniversary year, we have been pleased for them to accept our invitation to lead off the parade.

As a small accordion band and new to annual parades, we have tried our best to attend as many band parades as we could overvyhd past two years. Needing every member present to attend places a lot of pressure on our members to be present.
But we have managed to attend quite a few because as a band we enjoy marching, but moreso it is vital we continue to uphold our values and culture, along with the rich musical band scene we all provide.

We would encourage bands to come along and help support us and give our home town another band parade to enjoy.
