Inclusive communities day

We warmly invite you to our upcoming Inclusive Communities Day on Friday, 21st November, from 12–2pm.

This event is the culmination of our current Learning Expedition, which has focused on the guiding question: “How can AAC help everyone have a voice in our community?” The day is designed to help community members discover how AAC can be used effectively and how to become supportive communication partners for people with communication disabilities. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore communication strategies and gain valuable insights into inclusive interactions through play-based activities and student-led workshops, which will showcase a variety of AAC tools and their practical applications.

There will also be a sausage sizzle, a sensory tool lucky dip, AAC merchandise, and sweets available for purchase, with all profits going towards site improvement initiatives.
