Charles Dickens Festival

Northwell Mather Hospital Presents and Port Jefferson Arts Council Produces the 29th Annual Charles Dickens Festival. Share the joys of the season as the streets of Port Jefferson Village transform into a Victoria scene from the pages of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Walk from attraction to attraction amid carolers and characters from Victorian England. There is something for everybody: Santa Claus Central at the Methodist Church, craft projects at the Teen Center at the Port Jefferson Free Library, Mistletoe Craft Fair and musical performances at the Presbyrterian Church, drink some piping hot apple cider at the Drowned Meadow House while learning about the area's role in Revolutionary War History, and so much more!
