𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞

If you live in the Dundee or West Bay area, you may have recently received a letter from the West Bay Pastoral Charge about the challenges facing our local churches. Like many communities, they’re struggling with an aging membership and declining income, which puts their future in question.

Whether you’re spiritually inclined or not, one thing is clear: these churches have been 𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 of our community for 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. Take the 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡, for example—it was built in 𝟏𝟖𝟑𝟔 and has been a gathering place for countless generations. From weddings to memorials and community events, these churches have been part of the fabric of our lives.

Jay and I wanted to help in some way—and we realized that music is our gift to give. That’s why we’ve created the 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, a series of fundraising concerts where 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the West Bay Pastoral Charge to help sustain and maintain these historic places during this critical time.

These concerts have been a great success thus far, and we are excited to finish it up with a Christmas concert to get people into the spirit of the holiday season!🎄
