Pompeii Antico: An Ancient City Preserved - Lecture by Lesley Young

In 79 CE Mt Vesuvius erupted, burying the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum under layers of pumice and ash. This gives us a unique look at the lives and deaths of its inhabitants. In this talk we will explore the eruption, everyday life and some of the treasures of Pompeii.
