Dave Bennison, creator of the Historical Niagara Facebook page (with over 28,000 followers) brings his signature storytelling style to this month’s meeting. With decades of hands-on archaeological work and a strong following online, Dave brings the past to life with energy, humor, and detail.

We’ll exploe the Welland Canal’s early history (1824–1887) — including the First and Second Canals, the Feeder Canal, and several notable shipwrecks connected to this key trade route.
