Meet the Artist: A Visualizing Marine Science Showcase
Join us for Meet the Artist, a special event at The University of Texas Marine Science Institute celebrating all participants in the Visualizing Marine Science Competition.

View a gallery of photographs and videos that highlight the beauty of marine science and the creative work of UTMSI students, faculty, and staff. The exhibit offers a unique look at the research conducted at the institute through the lens of visual storytelling.

The event takes place on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the UTMSI Lyceum in Port Aransas. Attendees can meet the artists, learn more about their work, and enjoy light refreshments.

Free and open to the public—we welcome the community to help celebrate the creativity and dedication of our scientists.
