Shimmering Sands Belly Dance Show

Shula Azhar, Raks Halifa and the Beledi Blossoms will be performing in the June Shimmering Sands Belly Dance Showcase at Studio Bob.

Shula Azhar is the only professional belly dance company on the Olympic Peninsula. They have won awards as a group and as individual soloists. Their goal is to give their audience a visual masterpiece and an education on the various styles of belly dance.

Raks Halifa is an understudy performing group who is learning about the music, culture and dances of countries throughout the Middle East. It is their goal to move up the ranks into Shula Azhar.

Beledi Blossoms is a student group from our Sequim class who just finished learning a choreography to Mesaytara, a popular Egyptian pop song, over the last 6 weeks. These ladies have worked hard and will be showing off their amazing new talents!

This show is free for all ages; tips are greatly appreciated.
