☕ TEAS AT THE MILL RETURNS FOR 2025☕
A summer series of music, art & afternoon delight!
The Community Arts Council of the Alberni Valley is delighted to announce the return of Teas at the Mill for its 2025 summer season—an enchanting blend of culinary treats, musical performances, and live art in the historic charm of McLean Mill.
Originally known as Teas on the Terrace during the Rollin Art Centre days, this cherished tradition has found new life at McLean Mill, thanks to the Community Arts Council’s current home base at the Grove Gallery in the Harbour Quay.
This year’s Teas at the Mill series kicks off with a family-friendly Strawberry Tea on Sunday, July 6 from 1–3 p.m., featuring live music by Xixi and the Bandit and live painting by Julia Oscarson.
Guests are encouraged to wear their fanciest outfits and enjoy a delightful afternoon of strawberry cake, fruit, tea, and art activities for all ages.
The second event, a Sparkling High Tea on Sunday, July 20, offers a more luxurious experience with a glass of sparkling wine, locally made scones and finger sandwiches, and of course, live music and painting.
The celebration continues in August with another Strawberry Tea on Sunday, August 3, followed by a second Sparkling High Tea on Sunday, August 17, both promising joyful afternoons of art, music, and community in the sunshine.
