All Aboard a Crafty Cruise!
The Community Arts Council of the Alberni Valley invites you to set sail for an evening of creativity, music, and coastal charm with the return of its summer fundraiser! This year’s Crafty Cruise takes place on the summer solstice, meaning breathtaking views of the sunset aboard the historic Frances Barkley. Mark your calendars—this one-of-a-kind 19+ event takes place on Friday, June 20, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, departing promptly from the Lady Rose Marine at the Harbour Quay.
Each $75 ticket includes a drink ticket, craft ticket and a charcuterie cup. This year, we are happy to be serving craft drinks from Dog Mountain Brewing, with beer, lemonade and iced tea. Plus, a special crafty cruise mocktail! We will also be serving hand-crafted charcuterie cups from V9Y Catering, with the option of being vegan and/or gluten free. For the craft, guests can casually create a coastal bear to take home as a keepsake. Make one for yourself or for your friend! Expect upbeat summer vibes on deck as DJ Spin Daddy spins an eclectic mix of beats for a diverse and vibrant crowd.
The evening will also feature games, including a crowd-favourite Pictionary competition, and event photography by Ali Penko. All proceeds support the programming and operations of the Community Arts Council of the Alberni Valley, helping to keep arts thriving in our region.
