Learn Visible Mending

The newest exhibit at the Alberni Valley Museum, RESIST, is open and the Fibre Guild is celebrating this amazing exhibit with free workshops!

Today, Su and Val are teaching visible mending. Bring in any items in need of repairs, or come and learn basic stitches and techniques to give your loved items a second wind!

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁: “RESIST” is an exhibit of artworks by members of the Fibre Art Network. It explores ‘resist’ in both the fabric technique used in the creation of the art pieces as well as the meaning of the word resist through the subject matter explored.

RESIST runs to July 12, 2025 at the Museum, located at 4255 Wallace Street.
