Spring Flowers at the Museum

Visit the Scugog Shores Museum on Opening Weekend to discover spring gardening and agriculture practices of the early settlers.

In this interactive event, try your hand at crop planning, visit our seed exchange library, and learn about planting native Ontario plants on site. Mix your own tea flavour to brew at home using elements that can be grown in Ontario.

And, get a first look at the new travelling exhibit, "Miijim: Foods of the Lake of the Woods Anishinaabe," which focuses on indigenous food practices!
