The purpose of this presentation is to help long term care professionals recognize tardive dyskinesia (TD), the impact that it may have on residents, and person-centered considerations for managing TD.
· Participants should be able to recognize tardive dyskinesia in residents.
· Participants should be able to describe the impact that tardive dyskinesia may have on residents.
· Participants should be able to justify a person-centered care plan for tardive dyskinesia using the 4Ms Framework.
