Gilbert the Godwit Trail

Follow the numbered posts as you help Gilbert on your way around the trail. Find out what he needs to help him prepare for a long migration flight all the way Iceland.

Pick up a free trail sheet from Knoll Beach Visitor Reception. The route will be a circular walk through the sand dunes. It is approximately a 1km walk on sand. Head back to Visitor Reception at the end to collect your sticker.

ANPR parking is in place at Knoll Beach. Please remember your car registration when you go to the parking machine. Alternatively you can download the JustPark app, using location 998930 for Knoll Beach, and if you are a member you will have the option to add your card so you don't need to scan it at a machine, just check in using the app. Parking is free for members and blue badge holders. Coins can be used at the parking machine closest to visitor reception.
