Cribs, Cards and Christingles a zoom talk by Mark Lewis

With a month till Christmas Day join us on Zoom for Cribs, Cards and Christingles – The Origins of Christmas Traditions and Customs.

A talk which explores how our colourful Christmas traditions and customs came into being and how they are celebrated. The presentation also includes some of the lesser-known folklore including Jesse Trees, Chrismons, Mumming Plays and Wassailing.

Society Members who receive information by e-mail will find a meeting invitation link in the latest E-News. E-news is also available in the password protected Members’ Area of our website.

Those who do not receive E-News, or who are not Society Members, are welcome to attend and can request an invitation link by contacting us (use liaison from the drop down list) at least 6 hours before the meeting is due to start.
