On the 17th December Nigel & Alfie are taking us on a 5-6 mile walk from The Ship to Rhiwsaeson and up to the hillfort to enjoy the superb views over Cardiff and the Vale.
We've graded this walk a level 7 on our Marauders walk scale. Underfoot there's a combination of tarmac, dirt and grassy paths and there may be a bit of mud in some sections. There's a long gradual incline too as we climb to the highpoint.
Wear good outdoor footwear and dress for the weather and, as usual, bring a drink and snack. The walk is dog friendly but they'll need to be controlled in some areas.
The walk will finish up back at The Ship for refreshments.
