Please join us for the next concert of the 2025 season for the City of Pontiac’s Rockin’ at the River concert series! This concert will take place at the Humiston – Riverside Bandshell on Thursday, August 28th, from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM. We will be featuring The Disco Circus, a 70’s disco & funk tribute band hailing from Chicago.

THE DISCO CIRCUS is an immersive, live band, disco party EXPERIENCE… complete with all the glitz, glamour, excitement and groove of Studio 54! Brought to you by veterans of the Chicagoland music scene, this stellar ensemble engulfs audiences in a next level, nostalgic experience that hearkens back to the days of bellbottoms, sparkles and platforms and encourages audiences to break out their grooviest threads and boogie down to Funkytown!
Audiences find themselves swiftly transported away from the minutiae of daily life immersed in the band’s unabashed showmanship, wild stage personas and spirited performances. Their attention-grabbing costume changes, shameless audience participation, and amusing stage antics has everyone partying like it’s 1979!
From those who witnessed the 70’s, to young people who are just now discovering the magic and music of the 1970’s…people of all ages are running off to join THE DISCO CIRCUS!
Rockin' at the River Concerts are family-friendly, free, and open to the public. Food vendors will have items for sale, or you can bring your own picnic! Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on; a small number of chairs will be available if you did not bring your own.
Please remember that all parks are smoke and alcohol free.
In the case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to The Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center.
