Vermillion Players is excited to announce auditions for our fourth annual adult UNIFIED THEATER production of Alice in Wonderland. Directed by Laura Baumgardner and Produced by Ben Diaz and Debi Donze.
Join Alice as she journeys down the rabbit hole into a whimsical world filled with peculiar characters and nonsensical situations.
Auditions will be held Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 3:00-4:30 pm and Monday, August 18, from 5:00-6:30 pm, 2025 at the Vermillion Players Storage Building (202 S. Pearl Street, Pontiac). Please come with a short monologue of your choice to read or recite. A selection from the script will also be available. If you are a non reader, please come and we will interview you for your part.
Various ages are needed and a variety of roles are available! Minimum age to audition will be 18. Rehearsals will begin end of August.
What is Unified theatre? It is an awesome opportunity for people with and without intellectual disabilities to perform together. Unified Partners act alongside and assist their partners as needed. Director Laura Baumgardner has been directing her Life Skills students at PTHS for over 20 years in numerous Unified Theatre productions and Vermillion Players is again offering this opportunity to the community! We hope you will join us for this fun production. You're sure to make new friends and make a difference!
The show dates will be October 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th.
