BORDA 4x4 Vehicle Mounted Winch Training Group Session

British Off Road Driving Association (BORDA) standard for training winch operators Group session.

The objective is to equip drivers/riders with the very latest skills and knowledge to operate a vehicle-mounted winch in off-highway situations for work and private use.

Courses cover: winch types and selection, ancillary equipment and inspections, basic winch safety, hand signals and practical training scenarios including basic, straight and angled pulls together with the use of snatch block and pulley.

Attendees receive a certificate and course notes.

The course starts at 09:30hrs at our training centre in the Swansea Valley. Includes an hour of theory before a full day practical session on our off road site. Concludes around 16:00hrs
