EVENT: Workers over Billionaires- (Nationwide Protest)
WHEN: September 1st 2025 (Labor Day) - 3:00pm -6:00pm
WHERE: @ N. 5th street and E. Highland Ave. in Ponca City, Oklahoma
WHAT: We come together as a community to oppose the policies and executive overreach of this current administration. Hands Off Ponca City is gathering in solidarity with hundreds of cities across our nation, to let our voices be heard. Our group is fighting for a better future for our Children, Loved ones and our Neighbors!
OUR DEMANDS TO BUILD THE SOCIETY WE ALL DESERVE:
1. Stop the billionaire takeover corrupting our government.
2. Protect and defend Medicaid, Social Security, and other programs for working people.
3. Fully funded schools, healthcare and housing for all.
4. Stop the attacks on immigrants, black, indigenous, trans people, homeless and all our communities.
5. Invest in people not wars.
6. End the unnecessary and wasteful federalization of the national guard and other military onto the streets of our nation and Washington DC
Please bring a friend or 2 to join this event!!
There will be music, a playground available for the kids, Iced water bottles for the protesters and plenty of shade to keep cool.
