This is a fabulous way to learn some wet felting skills and some craft activities to share with your children or friends.
I know it’s a bit early to be thinking about this but if I leave it to closer to Xmas you won’t have any time, so let’s do this now 😀
There are two different workshops.
Morning - 9.30 to 12.00: we start by learning how to make a colourful sheet of felt. While that is drying we will use felt I have made to make few different little angels, stars and fairies. These are great Xmas decorations. You’ll leave with some examples of each, your sheet of felt and patterns to make more at home, and the knowledge of how to make more felt to create with.
Afternoon - 12.30 to 3.45: learning to use a felt resist in wet felting to make a body and then finishing it as a table tree/fairy or tree topper angel. These are bigger than the morning workshop angel/fairies standing at about 25 - 30cm tall.
I’ll have a range of beautiful hand dyed wool on hand and use of everything you need, eg tools, pens, glue etc will be included.
