On behalf of Delegate Patterson and Chairman Wilson, you are invited to join us for Access to Opportunity: Business Tools for Women, Veterans, and Small Businesses in Charles County on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 3:00–5:30 p.m. at the College of Southern Maryland (Business & Industry Building, Rooms 103 & 104).
This event will be an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow with state and local leaders, agency representatives, and fellow business owners. The program includes:
3:00–4:00 p.m. Resource tables featuring state and local agencies with information for businesses.
4:00–5:00 p.m. An engaging discussion with Comptroller Brooke Lierman, Secretary Ed Rothstein, the Department of Veterans and Military Families, and Lucretia Freeman-Buster of the Charles County Economic Development Department, on new tax benefits, programs, and opportunities.
5:00–5:30 p.m. Workshop: Getting Your Business House in Order – A Comprehensive Guide to Operational, Financial & Legal Foundations for Growth.
