Making Ice Cream in a Bag
Ever wondered how ice cream freezes? Come chill with us as we explore the science behind freezing points and chemical reactions—by making our own ice cream in a bag! In this tasty STEAM program, participants will mix ingredients, shake things up, and learn how salt and ice work together to create a frozen treat.

Ideal for kids 7 years & up.

All materials provided.

*Our monthly STEAM Challenge for older elementary - middle school-aged kids is a fun and engaging way to introduce children to STEAM concepts. This program will be held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at the Pomeroy Library beginning at 5:00 p.m.
