Join us for a hands-on, Communi-Tea class focused on nourishing and strengthening both the nervous and immune systems. This gathering honors the plant knowledge long used in Appalachian communities to support resilience, calm the nerves, and maintain wellness through seasonal and life stresses.
Together, we’ll take a deeper look at the energetics of specific herbs—how they interact with the body, how Appalachian folk traditions understood their actions, and how to thoughtfully combine them for balanced, effective support. These practices reflect generations of learning shaped by close relationships with the land and its medicinal plants.
Participants will create nourishing herbal teas during class, sharing cups together in the spirit of community, with plenty to take home to continue the care.

In Appalachian herbal tradition, stress has long been recognized as a root cause of imbalance, placing strain on the immune system and overall vitality. This class will explore how different forms of stress affect the body and how gentle, time-honored herbs can offer steady support during challenging times.
