From WOY WOY direction, you will see a right hand turn lane just before you get to the Point Clare roundabout. Turn right here this is Kurrawa Avenue!
From WEST GOSFORD Turn left straight after crossing Pt Clare railway bridge.
Continue on Kurrawa Avenue, past a small train station carpark on your left, you will see the road continues through with the water on your right - this road leads to TS Hawkesbury and the Marine Rescue Base.
Keep going, you’re almost there…. Go over 5 speed bumps and then you will see a carpark on your left, this is called Goodaywang Reserve, we can park nose to tail to fit more in, but if it’s full, there are spots of grassed area’s where you can park heading back toward the way you came in from.
WHEN: Saturday 3:30PM. We leave on time

DIFFICULTY: Moderate
DISTANCE: 3km
PACE: Average.
ACCESSIBILITY: Although it is all on tar or cement, the road has loose gravel etc on it. There is a ramp either end of the railway underpass. Bikes & scooters fine, may be a bit bumpy for strollers & disability aids.
WALK INFORMATION: The walk will be from Point Clare along the path towards West Gosford, it has lots of shaded areas, some in the sun areas, it is a wide path that is shared with bicycles but there is also grass areas on either side of the path to allow our dogs plenty of room as well. We will walk for approximately 25mins, then we will stop and do the usual photoshoot and drink break, then we will head back to the starting point.
FACILITIES: Toilets, seats and tables along the way. Bins available.
All dogs are welcome.
This is an on leash walk - please no retractable leads.
Treats are fine for own dog, but we ask that you do not treat other dogs due to medical and aggression with some dogs.
Please remember to:
Ask - before you meet a new dog.
Act - If the answer is no please move away & give the dog some space.
If the answer is yes. 3 second rule is a good way to start
