Year 1 and 2 Sports Day

In the morning, the children will take part in a range of fun sporting challenges with their class and teachers on the field.

This will be followed by a picnic with families and then a variety of races throughout the afternoon. Parents and Carers are invited to join us at 12:30pm for a picnic on the field. Children will then return to their class adults at 1:00pm to go back to the classrooms to go to the toilet. During this time, spectators will need to move into position around the track ready for the afternoon races to begin at approximately 1:30pm.

Each Sports Day will finish with a presentation of awards to celebrate values demonstrated by children across the full day i.e. determination, perseverance and teamwork.

Once all races have finished, children will return back to their classrooms with their classroom adults to collect their belongings ready to be taken to their normal collection points for their usual finishing time.

After each Sports Day, we will be selling ice pops outside the MULA for 50p. Money raised will be donated to FaTMAP, which will be used to support the fundraising of Summer events.

Please can we ask that children come to school with sunscreen applied, bring a sun hat and a water bottle.
