Join us for a fun filled day of turtle encounters, education and a variety of donation-based creative activities for all ages as we help raise funds to bring TurtlTracker – a free, local community science app for turtles currently in beta – live to the App Store.
Plus, don’t miss our limited-edition turtle-themed cocktail, with $1 from every drink going directly to support TurtlTracker’s development and infrastructure costs.

Turtle encounters
Meet the real stars of Turtle Bash! Get up close with live turtles, learn their stories, and discover fun facts about our shelled friends. Snap a photo, ask questions, and see firsthand why these amazing creatures deserve conservation efforts and protection.
Turtle tattoo parlor and photo station ($5)
Wear your heart on your sleeve, and show off your turtle-loving spirit at our Turtle Tattoo booth, where you can choose from a variety of turtle-y cute temporary tattoos — And, show them off at our pop up tattoo shop + photo op after it’s applied. (Yes, the tattoos are temporary—but the memories will last a lifetime).
Affirmation alphabet bracelet making station ($10)
Create your own custom alphabet bracelet to wear or take home—designed to uplift and inspire your turtle-saving adventures. Spell out a favorite mantra, positive word, or conservation message to keep you going strong. Each bracelet is a little reminder to keep going, and that your actions matter – no matter how small – matter. Don’t forget to add a TurtlTracker charm for good luck!
Adopt-and-paint-a-rock-turtle making station ($5)
Show your love for local turtles by painting your very own pet turtle rock! Add some TurtlTracker flair, an Instagram handle, and hide it somewhere fun – your little creation might just inspire someone new to join the TurtlTracker community.
“Turtle” bike racing relays (registration required)
Grab a beer, strap on a turtle shell, hop on an adult trike, and get ready to unleash your turbo turtle for our trike relays! Does slow and steady really win the race? Gather your racing crew and find out!
Limited edition event merch
Hana Bistro and Sweet Lous food trucks will be on site from 1:00 – 8:30pm!
TurtlTracker is a free community science app that is running a beta in Minnesota this summer, and is currently fundraising to expand and launch nationwide. With TurtlTracker you can track turtle movement, migration and mortality to help build a turtle-friendly future. Data from the app helps identify where wildlife crossings are needed most. TurtlTracker also includes education tools and a social platform to connect and engage with other users. Oh, and you can name your turtles. You can learn more at turtltracker.com.
