Paul Hobbs has received numerous honors, including Forbes’ recognition as “The Steve Jobs of Wine” and being named “Wine Personality of the Year” by Robert Parker twice. He is also the first winemaker to receive a perfect 100-point score for a 100% Malbec from Argentina.
In 1977, Paul Hobbs’ first harvest was at the Robert Mondavi winery. He was also a member of the founding team of Opus One.
The driving philosophy has been to craft world-class, site-specific wines through meticulous care in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the cellar.
