Northeast North Carolina Livestock Field Day

The 2025 Northeast NC Livestock Field Day will be held on May 30, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Tidewater Research Center in Plymouth, NC. This year’s focus will be Small Ruminants: Sheep and Goats.

Extension Specialists will be covering a variety of topics

• Pasture renovation and W**d Identification
• Fence Construction
• Solar Farm Grazing with sheep
• FAMACHA for parasite management
• Lambing/kidding toolbox
• Retail cuts of lamb and cooking techniques
• Transitioning to Organic livestock production
