Joey The Lips have long been a band in demand - so we're thrilled to have them back at Boringdon Park in Plymouth on Saturday 27th September 2025 for another night of incredible live music.
Jimmy Alderson and his hi-energy band are renowned for creating an infectious and atmospheric on-stage energy. So, get ready for an evening of soul, funk, blues and Motown, featuring three high-quality vocalists, a driving rhythm section and a kicking horn section that won't stay still for a second!
Joey The Lips have supported several well-known bands including UB40, Gabrielle, and The Hoosiers. And they've previously played the same stage as Will Young, Bob Geldof & The Boomtown Rats, Toyah, Heaven 17, and The Real Thing!
They'll be playing a very diverse set - from Michael Jackson and Nile Rodgers medleys to Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk, Queen's Don't Stop Me Now - and everything in between.
This band really do love what they do - it's fast, fun, furious and we guarantee you won't be able to stand still!
