Join us at the Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance (SEMPBA) Center at the Center Hill Preserve for an engaging evening focused on energy efficiency and sustainable home improvements.

In this talk, we'll share our journey of repairing and upgrading the Pine Barrens Alliance Nature Center. Topics will include:

Linda Lancaster retired from MIT in 2014 after 25 years in Information Systems and Finance. Earlier in her career, she worked in the computer industry and as a mathematics editor at Houghton Mifflin. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Simmons College and an MBA from Babson College. Inspired by An Inconvenient Truth, Linda has dedicated herself to climate action—reducing her household’s carbon footprint and advocating for carbon pricing legislation. She currently chairs the South Shore and Cape chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby. SEMPBA is fortunate to have Linda as our treasurer and a driving force behind efforts to make our nature center more sustainable and energy efficient.
