PA Native Tree and Birding Outing: Harriet Wetherill Park

Andrew Conboy, a local ISA-certified arborist and urban forester, has been one of the leaders of this important effort. Come join him and volunteers from the Valley Forge Audubon Society, as we take about 2 hours for a relaxed exploration of the park’s fields, woods, and butterfly garden to learn about these native trees and plants and the birds attracted to them. All experience levels and age groups are welcome to join us, for all of the outing, or for whatever amount of time you can stay. Bring binoculars if you have them; the guides will have several pairs to lend. Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. There are accessible restroom facilities on site.
