Shadow Work Workshop : The Responsibility Trap — Laying Down the Weight You Carry

Do you feel like it’s always your job to keep everything together? Maybe you carry the weight for family, work, or relationships, even when it exhausts you. Over time, responsibility can become a trap — leaving no space to rest, receive, or simply be.

In this workshop, you’ll explore why your system learned to over-carry and begin gently laying down what was never yours. Together we’ll open the doorway to balanced support and the freedom of not holding it all alone.

3-Hour Format
Explore the hidden cost of over-responsibility, where carrying too much for others blocks your ability to rest, trust, and receive. Through parts work and shadow integration, you’ll begin laying down the weight that was never yours to carry.
Full-Day Format
Go deeper into the survival strategy of hyper-responsibility. Identify the protector that insists you must hold it all together, and meet the tender part of you longing to be cared for. Through guided rituals, parts dialogue, movement, and group witnessing, you’ll practice opening to reciprocity without guilt.
