Floyd Norman: An Animated Life: Screening and Live Q&A w/ Animator Floyd Norman + Directors

Animator. Storyman. Troublemaker. FLOYD NORMAN: AN ANIMATED LIFE tells the story of Disney Legend Floyd Norman’s career. The first ever African American animator at Disney, Norman continues to impact animation and stir up “trouble” after the company forced him to retire at age 65.

In honor of the film’s near 10-year anniversary and Norman’s 90th birthday, Floyd Norman will join us virtually after the screening for a Q&A alongside directors Michael Fiore and Erik Sharkey in person. Tickets for this one-night-only event are on sale now: https://bit.ly/3W300lc

After the conversation, catch SLEEPING BEAUTY, one of the first major films Norman worked on in his career. In October, watch MONSTERS, INC. as part of JBFC Kids, which Norman worked on later in life as a storyboard artist.
