Bounding Main at the Bristol Renaissance Faire

Bounding Main returns to our home port at the Bristol Renaissance Faire, multiple-year winner of the Best Renaissance Festival in the Renaissance Festival Podcast Awards! Located just off of Highway 94 at the Illinois-Wisconsin border, this recreation of an Elizabethan town is one of the oldest and most popular events of its kind. We will bring our songs of mariners in olden times – sea shanties – to those 40 acres of historical costumes, entertainment, musicians, food and shops on Saturday and Sunday for three weekends this year!

This is an outdoor event at a theme park in the height of summer in the American Midwest, so expect hot temperatures and high humidity. There is no longer free parking, so think about consolidating cars when visiting. Look for discount entrance tickets at Walgreens and other retailers. This is an enormously popular event and lines form well before the park opens. The park is open rain or shine, so if bad weather presents itself, consider attending on a fun, rainy day!
