Hello Dog Sort lovers, it is Dryland Mushing season again! Dynamic Canines will be hosting a practice workshop!
Dryland Mushing is a great sport for any size or breed of Dog that loves to pull and run. This event is open for all different levels of people and dogs who are wanting to participate in the sport. So whether you and your Dog are new to the sport and wanting to come out and learn and try it out or you and your dog are experienced in the sport and are wanting to come out and maybe work around distractions or need some coaching help for you and your team then this is the workshop for you.
There will be equipment available to use for people and Dogs coming out to try this sport and may not have their own equipment yet. Equipment such as a bike, guidelines, mushing rig, helmet, and some sizes of dog safe pulling harnesses will be provided for people that do not have any and are wanting to come out and try the sport. Please keep in mind that I only have a few different sizes of harnesses due to the fact there are so many different sizes and breeds of dogs. So if you do have a harness for your Dog please bring it or please reach out to see if we have one in your dog's size. Once you and your dog decide you love the sport and would like to continue doing the sport you will need your own equipment. We can help you find everything that you need!
Please make sure to bring lots of water for yourself and your dog. Also, we suggest to make sure that your dog is up-to-date on their flea and tick preventative due to that we will be on a wooden trail. All dogs will be required to be on a leash and to stay appropriate distances from other dogs and people due to not everyone may be social. Please respect others space to help keep everyone safe. Also, we will be taking turns so you may want a chair, a crate for your dog or a shade cover. Most people just keep their dogs in crates in their car while waiting their turn.
The event will be held Saturday October 11th as long as weather permits. If it is too hot or if there are storms, we will reschedule. Keeping everyone safe is our first priority.
The practice is going to be held at Mopac Boardman road Trail in Pleasant Hill Missouri. You are going to want to come to the south entrance off of Boardman Road to find parking. We will meet in the parking lot.

Event is $40 to attend. If you have additional dogs it is $10 for each additional dog.
